In Kate, circa 1990, Tony Potts captures a quiet moment of sensuality and self-possession. Seated with one knee drawn toward her body, the model raises her arms and turns her face upward in profile, her eyes closed. The gesture feels natural and unguarded, as though she has briefly withdrawn into her own thoughts.

Potts uses a shallow depth of field to soften the surrounding interior and concentrate attention on the elegant lines of her neck, shoulders, and arms. Light falls gently across her skin, while the patterned upholstery introduces texture and graphic contrast.
