Collection: KATERINA BELKINA
Katerina Belkina (b. 1974, Samara, Russia) grew up in an artistic household shaped by her mother, a visual artist. She trained at the Art Academy and the School for Photography of Michael Musorin in Samara, building the technical foundation for a practice that blends digital painting with photography into a signature visual language.
Her ethereal self-portraits, including Moonrise, 2022 and Mars, 2023, attracted international attention early, leading to exhibitions in Moscow and Paris. In 2007 she received a nomination for the Kandinsky Prize. Major awards followed: the Lucas Cranach Prize in 2015 and the Hasselblad Masters Award in 2016. Katerina Belkina lives and works in Werder (Havel), Germany.
